An Integrated Stage-Based Framework for Implementation of Early Childhood Programs and Systems
This research brief introduces a framework suggesting that implementation happens in four stages with three common core elements existing across each of the stages. The brief defines the common elements, demonstrates their basis in previous syntheses of the implementation science literature, and describes the way the elements function at each stage of implementation.

DEC Recommended Practices

ECQUIP Early Childhood Quality Improvement Practices Standards and Rubric for Program Assessment
ECQUIP is a guide for programs when planning for continuous quality improvement. It provides a framework for implementing quality practices. ADE outlines guidance for conducting an ECQUIP process, but the design of each program's ECQUIP self-assessment is left to the local administration, based on local needs.
